hey I am planning on doing the hood tilt trick. I have only seen it on one or two vehicles,
but for the tilt you just put washers between the hinge and the hood correct?
could you guys post some pics of some tilted hoods

this may seem really nOObish, but why do people do that “hood tilt” thing? does it serve any purpose or is it just for looks? and what is it “supposed” to look like if it is for looks… sorry for being a noob here, im just baffled by this…

its suppose to… to me its just a reason to justify why people do this mod… no one knows for sure if it really works.

I have to do it on my hatch because I have a H2B turbo, and if you do a h2b in the Da you have to tilt your hood also because of hood clearance.
Those are the only legit reasons I know of.

i did it on my teggy but i ended up taking it out because i used longer bolts and one cracked because i got them from orchard supply

Does not aid in cooling like “common sense” says… it can actually hurt cooling as it can disturb air flow through the engine bay… and yes… looks like shit… actually… it looks like you bent the hood hinges in a wreck or something… so yes… shit…

92 bumper swap= rice
power mirrors rice
front lip=rice
