Horn and cruise control disconnected

It is a long story, but my car received a new ignition about a month ago. The old ignition was literally torn off my steering column when my car was stolen. The new ignition was installed, but now my horn and cruise control do not work. Does anyone have any knowledge of what might have happened to cause my horn and cruise control not to work? The Acura dealership won’t mess with it (very dissapointed w/ them:mad: ) Seems to me the wires might have been somehow cut or torn apart in there. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated - i can’t pass inspection w/o my horn and I NEEEEEED cruise control;) …thanks!

The same thing append to me.
Believe or not, it is NORMAL and logic that your horn don’t work if your Cruise is not working too.
My problem was that the 2 horns (one for high frequency and the other for low freq.) was disconnected, (1 pole was broken due to the corrosion). It is linked to the same fuse. (Refering to the Helm Manuel)

To FIX that, just reconnect 1 or the 2 horn to repair your cruise at the same time.
The horns is located behing the front bumper, you have to Remove it completly. The 2 big screw is located behing the front flasher. Other 2 little screw at each extremity of the bumper neer the front wheels.

(Sorry if my english if not perfect.)

Just trying to helping you with my experience

my car was dragged sitting on its frame (minus wheels) onto a flatbed for about 15 feet… is the horn low enough to be damaged from the dragging? BTW, the body shop was SUPPOSED to check for underbody damage!

hey if the brake lights are not working also you might want to check the fuse in the under the hood fuse box. all three seem to be on the same circuit hope that helps

yeah, the brake lights weren’t working initially… i checked the fuses and that one fuse is labeled something like “Stop/Horn”… that fuse was burnt, so i replaced it and got my brake lights working, but the horn still does not work.:frowning:
