I got the red/clear tails for my teg, but what can i do to make the bottom half black and still show my brake lights? Someone said transparent paint, does it come n black

Spray tint for lexan will work, but it will wear off after a short while if it’s left in the elements without a clearcoat (I’m not sure clear will even stick to it). I found this stuff that I’m going to try on a future car of mine:
It’s received a rave review from a Miata.net member that used it on his Mazdaspeed taillights (the smoke-colored tint).
