How can you tell if they really are JDM one piece headlights? I mean I know how the look like but are there replica’s out there
usually they say stanley on the lens near the foglights
Nope… no replica’s that I know of… and if there is, let me know! The 1 pieces have the flutes in on the lens… the ebay ones nowadays have the clear lens…
there is a company making replica JDM headlights . They will come with the flutes and all . but unlike the JDM lights these are direct plug and play . I cant remember the name of the company but i think its streetlightz . Their add was in the new imoprt tuner .
I went to a shop and they stated real jdm 1 piece headlights straight from japan would be $1250. i forgot if it was for a pair or just one. but he stated taiwan and china makes replica’s and he said these ones from china made replica’s and it was an OEM fitment. not too sure of what he meant, i was confused
i don’t see why honda would make headlights that cost 1250, wouldn’t be practical. either he got useless false information or he’s on crack.
can you post a scan of the replica 1pc headlights?
as far as i can see streetlightz is an importer.
you’d be surprised.
its rare to see a FCX. When I worked at Honda, we were going through our parts inventory cleaning out old shit, and I came across this headlight assembly. I didnt know what the fuck it was for, and we couldnt find the Honda part number on the box anywhere on the computer system. About a week later, after talking to a Honda main parts specialist (for us to use when looking for things we cant find) we found out it was a headlight assy. for an FCX that was ordered, and shipped to us by mistake a few years earlier, and the manager at the time never sent it back. Cost on that headlight assy…
around $26,000!!!
I shit you not. I laughed when the Honda specialist guy told me that. He even faxed me over paperwork to prove it. I couldnt believe it. The FCX are worth over a MILLION dollars. (if I can remember correctly, it was around 1.5 Million dollars per FCX). There were only a set number built for testing/trials purposes. Fuckin insane cost put into prototype vehicles.
Here’s their listing on their site. They’re listed as brand new.

Well, I went to the shop and asked if they had “JDM” One piece headlights for 90-93 Integra’s. He busted out a book of parts and showed me the chrome/black housing halo/projector 1 pieces and I was like no those aren’t the lights. He then said well if you mean JDM shit those are cost effective the lights I think your talking about go for about $1250, and I forgot if that was for a pair. He said they win shows and the reason why they win is because they have the real shit. He said Taiwan and China make replica’s and those happen to be the projector’s he showed and he claimed the REAL DEAL would come from Japan. But I was like you sure? because Password JDM has the headlights going for over $300 shipped! Then he busts out this other book saying I think these are the ones you are looking for and he claimed it was a replica and he said these are what Password JDM sells as well. Having that said I was like alright thanks I’ll probably stop by later. Of course I ain’t going back, I’ve decided to go through a friend and order the parts. I don’t know what he was talking about. Maybe the $1250 were brand new from Japan who knows but whatever I wasn’t sure what he was talking about because I knew.
That guy is an ass. The real ones are around $2-300. Just cause thay were bought from China/Taiwan doesn’t mean the’re not real. If it says Stanley on them, they ARE JDM. mine were bought off E bay from China, & they’re real (off a 92 DA) The taiwan/chinese market had the JDm DA’s sold in their country too. Just make sure they have the stanley markings on them.
BTW- Kingmotorsports.com (official Mugen site) has the DA lights brand new- $800+. Hit up ebay & check the pics carefully. You’ll get the right ones no prob. My ride is 90% Ebay bought parts. No complaints here.
BTW again- The S2000 side markers are the EXACT same side marker as on the DA.
:getsome: :manual:
Corniest quote ever: "Get yours today! JDM is IN!"
Awesome. One thing I might add I forgot to tell him if Stanley made them. I think that would have settled it.
fyi, a new pair of oem JDM headlight cost between $500 to $600 here in the mainland.
