I was wondering how come my turning signal bulbs have two little thingys on the bottom of it and in side the bulb it has two little thingys that light up but only one of them lights up. the bulb is the same kinda bulb as the brake light light bulb. so why could that be? were the connectors changed because all of them are like that. because i think it should be the bulb with one little dot thingy on the bottom of it. please someone let me know something im confused.:werd:
are you talking about the rear turn signals or front?? cuz the rear turn signals on the 90-91 have dual filament sockets for the turn signal whereas the 92-93 have single filament sockets. dont’ ask me why it is, but it is. and NO it has not been rewired or anything for the 90-91’s, it does come with dual filament sockets stock.
WHY???
its just like that, no one here is gonna know the real answer to that except Honda themself. why not just let it be. if the light works then it works.
Did you buy your car used? If so, maybe the previous owner changed it. Back in the day, it used to be the trend to convert your rear turn signal and reverse light to dual prong, yellow bulbs. They called these “ambers” and they would drive around at night with these lights always on, like the porsche. By converting it to dual filament, you can use the lighter filament as your “ambers” and the brighter filament would turn on when you signaled or went into reverse. My car is set up that way because of this early 90’s trend.

actually the 90-91 integras had dual filament sockets stock for rear turn signals. i know this because i had 90-91 tail lights before switching them out for 92-93 tail which have single filament sockets. and all the 90-91 tail lights i’ve seen all have dual filament sockets.
