someone told me that i might have an air bubble in my coolant and that might cause my idle to fluctuate. they also said that to bleed it, you unscrew something on the head, bleed it out, then put more anti-freeze in. but where on the head is it? anyone know, i need an answer as soon as i can get one. thanks!
you could try burping it… with the engine off and cooled down… just unscrew the radiator cap to let some air out and replace the cap…
ok, i will try that, if that doesn’t work, then should i loosen the bleed screw?
the air bleed bolt is on the water outlet hose. actually its one the water neck itself.
dont take it all the way off, jus loosen it a few turns.
keep filling the radiator till it starts to dribble out of the hole on the top of the bleed bolt. when the coolant starts to dribble out that means all the air has been pushed out of the water jacket by the coolant.
