How do I replace the heater core

My heater core is leaking on the passenger floor. Has anyone repleaced the heater core. How hard of a job is it? Do you really have to disconect the AC?

Anyinformation would be appreciated.

If i’m not mistaken you have to take out the entire interior Dash…The heater core is located directly in the middle behind everything…looks like it would be a huge job…

I replaced my heater core and fan. All I did was sit upsidedown in the passanger side and carefully squeeze all the junk out. It worked, but Im not so sure you knuckles will appreciate it.:rant:
Along the removal process things might not come out so easy, so just keep at it and sooner or later, at just the right angle, things will come out.
