How do I wire cruise and mount it on a aftermarket wheel?

I just bought and installed a aftermarket wheel (Tenzo-R) , I found out how to do the horn but how do I hook my cruise and mount the controls with this new aftermarket wheel?

picless threats suck…lol jk

pics would help though lol.

wow… u guys can’t figure out wire colors? its not that complicated. u look for the wires that it tells u to splice into. COLORS PPL, COLORS! its basic and very easy. i gotta find the time to do it myself, but i haven’t found the buttons i want yet.

The cruise control buttons are nothing but doorbell-type momentarily on switches. It’s that simple. I posted photos of my Momo with the switches mounted on the hub on another thread. Just look it up. The tricky part is finding a way of running the current from the switches, through the sliding switch, through the hub, and into the CC module without the wires binding.

thats why i plan on mounting the buttons to the dash/cluster bezel.

I mounted the sliding switch between the hub and the steering column. The wires therefore are hidden inside the steering wheel column plastic panel. The switches are mounted on an aluminum plate sandwiched between the steering wheel and the hub - similar to those Momo mounting plates which had a horn button.

wow calm down bro…i dont go to rio autotech  lol jk

lol. my bad. sometimes i just get annoyed by simple ish. i give crap to everybody, gfs, family, friends, don’t matter. so nobody should take it personal. but yeah… c’mon now. u gotta admit, the colors of the wire are given. there’s only one harness that goes to the steering column… its like gold fish. eventually you’ll get it

i already did lol…just testing you. havent seen your car at rio autotech…do you ever take it??

what do u mean do i ever take it? its my daily driver. i sometimes park in the student parking lot, but thats rare. i work up in auto tech, so i park there. u go there?

i go to ELAC autotech, but i got a couple of friends that go to rio and a friend that works for the referee, thinking about maybe switching to rio, ask mr. Romero and he’ll give you a list of things why ELAC’s program kind of sucks lol

LMAO!!! freaking gus romo, they all know me. and u must be talking about clint. HAHAHA GOOD OLD FATASS CLINT! i mean that in a good way. i’m very cool with them, and with miguel too. they know all about my ass with my white db1. i dont’ know too many ppl that go to elac, but i know a few. basically anybody and everybody in the auto program at rio should know me. cuz they gotta deal with me somehow someway. i work in the tool room, only as a student worker tho.

u gonna help out in the Test In Tune up event this year? i helped out last year and plan to help out this year too.

hahaha, dude isn’t romero hilarious as hell??? i think he is…always coming up with some stupid sh. What do u think…how’s the program from ur point of view?? :dozing:

Oh naaw dude we participated in the Shell’s Eco marathon which it went pretty good. you guys didnt??

nope. i have never even heard of it. last year some guys from elac showed up to help. isn’t bad, get paid $100 for 2 days to kick it and help out the community and ppl with messed up cars. its open to anybody to bring their car in, if it fails smog or has a CEL, then they get a voucher from state assistance program to get their car repaired for up to $500 at gold shield shops or something. is a pretty cool thing.

never been to it but hopefully i will. So are you done with the program?? Hope i get to meet you one day at a meet

i got about 1 more year with my program for me to get my A.S. in automotive technology. but yeah, make sure u come down to da9leo’s next meet. i think we’re planning on doing the meet on august 2nd in santa ana at the santiago park or whatever its called.
