how does this work?

ok i know its e-bay crap as many of you are going to say… i dont want them i just wanna know how they work and where they bolt to… i dont see where they would go to fix camber… also i work at a nissan dealership and im going to do an alignment to help with my tire wear… i need a camber kit since im about 2.5" low. the inside of the front tires are wearing at a rediculos rate, i never used the alignment machine but my buddy is going to do it for me… i just wanted to know what exactly does adjust the toe?

here is the camber kit im talking about…

Check that how-to out. It should give you an idea of doing an alignment on a Honda, minus the “string method”. You won’t be needing that since you have an alignment rack at your disposal. Enjoy! I actually got my start on modding DA’s by working at a Nissan dealership as well. Also, dipped a bit into the SR20 world.

Yes they do work. these are actually clones of the ingall’s camber kit. All they do is allow you to move your upper control arm to adjust your camber. It replaces the top bracket of your upper arm. This kit also allows you to change caster by some degree.

Camber is not the source of your tire wear! Incorrect toe is what will kill your tires. Since you say that you have never had your car aligned, you should get one right away. 0.5-2 degrees out-of-spec toe can cause severed tire wear! General RULE: Always get an alignment done if you mess about with your suspension!
I have -2.5 degree camber in the front and tires still last me quite a bit (> 30000kms for street). My track tires are a different story.

i don’t believe the whole “camber doesn’t kill tires” bit myself. not for a second. while toe is the number 1 killer, camber will also cause uneven wear. not to mention the havoc wreaked on bearings

camber will wear the tire for sure. but it won’t “kill” the tire like out of spec toe will. camber wear has never been an issue for me and i’m at -2.2*. the outside of my tires have always been pretty equal with the inside. nothing out of the ordinary that i see on stock cars.

Sure the wear is a little bit uneven but it’s definitely not bad. I can easily drive them to their tread wear specifications and longer. My I ran my falken 615’s for about 2 and a half years daily driven on the street. The inner side definitely had more wear, but in the end they still held up to falken’s tread wear ratings so it didn’t really matter to me.

On my Lexus I only have a camber kit in the front and none in the back. I did how ever take the car to a great aligment person and my rear tires look just as good as my fronts. Take it the car is lowered on coilovers about 2.5 inches.

I used this on my gsr and came loose every week and had to redo my alinment. Good thing i work at alinment shop. I went with a control arm camber kit
