Im looking at getting my clucth cable replaced and ive been shopping around and oreillys says 39.some odd inches is the length they have and napa says 59. im lost as to which one will fit? i did google search and came up with nothing:/
bump anyone??
that is very hard to say… It all depends on how you drive the car… just like brakes tires…
I seen cars last about 150,000… I seen cars at 100,000
if you drive like your grand mom you can get more miles then you can if you drive like a race car driver…
He meant the actual length of the cable, not how long it will last. ^^^^
Both those numbers a massively different. Most Honda/ Acura around the same year with a cable clutch should have close to the same length…for example I have a b16 one in mine, not sure of year tho.
Autozone lists 39.75 on their website and honestly, I have never not had something fit from them regardless of quality of parts.
yeah im kinda leaning towards that. i believe mine has streched thus causing major clutch problems lol thanks!
I had my last cable stretch on me, but was able to drive around for like a week till it snapped completely. Those damn cable are the only reason I hate cable clutches.
yeah i hear ya there! the adjustment is all out of wack on mine. i cannot get the clutch to grab at all. i believe the clutch it shot too so im gonna replace both at the same time and problem fixed.
