How many times your integra got broken into? Share your stories.

I’m pretty sure most of us had this experience one time or another. Dam haters!

I’ll start.

I have a 91 DA. Events happened at different residences.

1995- I woke up at 3am to hear my alarm go off. I go out to check to find my car on jack stands. They couldn’t manage to get the wheel locks off. I got two free jack stands and a jack lift.

1998- I was lifting weights in my garage in broad daylight when two teens went up to my car on the driveway and ripped my fog lights out of the bumper! I chased them about five blocks going through backyards and avoiding biting dogs. They looked like they were getting tired, so they just dropped the fogs lights on someones lawn.

1998- This is non related to theft but I like to share this. Some non-liscense driver tried to pull a hit and run at the parking lot. She drove a lifted truck and couldn’t see my lowered car as she backed out side swipping my drivers door. My friends and I ran out of the store as she tried to leave the parking lot and stopped her. She had no liscense and registration nor insurance. Because she tried to escape, I had her car impounded.

2005- Going to work in the morning I find my gas cap open. They stole all my gas.

Thats about it.

never had a car broken into.

when you drive mostly stock cars with just a basic stereo system… there isn’t much to steal!
i just have a cd player & 4 blaupunkt 6.5" speakers… sounds great but isn’t going to rattle any teeth out, and cost less than $200 total.

My car was only broken into once. Two black guys got out of a Chevy Blazer and used a screwdriver to break the drivers window. They stole about 150 cds out of the car and destroyed the console trying to pry out the radio. I got to watch this on the security cameras at work. There have been many attempts but this was the only one that was successful. They did not get the radio because it was bolted in a custom metal mount that I made.
Having a set of air horns and a pain generator inside the car hooked up to the alarm helps keep the punks away.

i say it was like 4-5 months ago, it was raining all night i come out and was just looking at my car admiring my window visors i had just picked up when i noticed my glove box open and then i checked the hatch and noticed my guitar case missing also.i lost my gibson guitar with my guitar pedal and all my cords.cops never found it either:bawl:

a couple times actually… One time i had just bought my clean CW JDM front gsr, the day after i did a FULL tune up, smog, payed for insurance, registration, new stickers and new plates, i caught the flu and took some strong medicine that knocked me out, my mom came into my room looking for me because she saw my car gone. Turns out, a couple of guys got bolt cutters, cut the lock to my garage, rolled my car down the hill and took it to TJ to strip her to her bare shell. Insurance didnt want to pay to bring it back to the states so i got a crappy check for the BB value of a 94 gsr.

Another time, they broke my windshild for an OG alpine swing that i loved because it had like 1000 different colors and could tune the music any way i liked. :bawl:

Another time, they couldnt get into my car because i disabled the key hole locks so it couldnt be jiggled and they bashed all my windows and took my OG GSR banana shift knob :bawl:

Talk about feeling violated!!! caught this punk ass in my garage, heard a loud bump, checked it out and didnt see anything about 5 min. later i heard it again, shined a flashlight towards the garage and saw the side door open with my bike tire stickin out, shined up further and there stood this mother f*!#er standing in my door getting ready to hop in!!! started yellin and ran downstairs while callin police, got to the garage and noticed my cd’s were gone, cops got there fingure printed my DA,its been 3 wks now, havent heard a thing:mad:

Lets see… When I had the DB1.

Once coming out to go to school at about 6AM, Got in the car… Noticed my glove box was stolen and all of my CDs were on the floor. Nothing was missing and there was no damage.

At one point, I noticed the plastic door handle where it meets the metal door skin was crunched in at the corner… Someone tried to pry out the handle.

Years later (had the DB1 for 5 years), Found out the ignition is sliced behind the plastic column cover.

Last attempt while in my possession… I went into 711 to get a pack of cig’s and left the DB1 running because I would always have a hard time getting it to start (never really found out why), But I locked the door behind me and put the steering wheel on the back seat floor under a jacket. I was in for about a minute… Litterally, Walk in asked for my kind of cig’s, gave a $10, got the change and came back out… When I came out there was a guy standing really close to my driver side door, standing up but was doing something with his hand… So I casually walked straight while the car was to my left, Then I curved left around to come up behind him. He had a key in the door trying to jiggle it unlocked, I slipped the cigs into my pocket and punched the back of his head his head bobbed down, He tried to turn around and i punched the left side of his face he stumbled onto the car and just booked it running towards the street…

The DB1 did end up getting stolen and stripped after I sold it.

What was the guy thinking? did he think he could of drove the car without a steering wheel? Or maybe he just wanted to steal stuff in the car?

It was about 11PM at night, The DB1 was all blacked out with tinted windows all around. So he probably just heard the engine running, saw the fog lights on and the blue glow from the head unit and didn’t realize there wasn’t a steering wheel.

Yeah, whoop dat ass

Oh man.

back in 2001…

I had a custom dual bandpass box with 2 12 inch subs int he back and 2 1000 watt amps hooked up, all customized. the box had mirrors all around with a cool blue glow that reacted to the sound.
Anyway I was at my girlfriend’s house in Seattle off of Albro Swift, and I had just bought the audio setup and was outside hooking everything up, i saw a few people drive by eyeballin my ride while i was doing this, ad didn’t think anything of it… a few weeks later i awake to the sound of my alarm going off outside, so i look out the window and see 4 people outside my car with a biig chevy silverado backed up to it. i grabbed my baseball bat and walked downstairs, opened the front door and started walking toward the punks, i get about 10 ft away and one of em sees me, I ask wtf you think you’re doing? and two of em take off running down the street, and the other two hop into the silverado and dipped out. I walk up to my baby, and see that my freshly installed stereo system is gone. they had a jack stand under the car, and looked like they were about to try to steal my rims. Never caught the fuckers or got the system back…

2002- 2006 my car got broken into several times, never got anything, they just busted out the window and left the door open… somebody shot my car a few times with a bb gun as well.

i guess i got some haters… fukcin punks.

now i live in a safer area, and got a carport and no problems…

never in my integra.

my Jaguar had been stolen twice.
the last time was by someone who knew me and didnt like me very much anymore.
they trashed the car, looks like it rolled once or twice, or just that badly vadalized.
it was totaled, my $5500 wheel/tire combo had one good wheel. buttercreme interior looked like someone had taken dog shit and smeared it all over, smelled like it too.
luckily, a built 3.0 liter V6 with giggle-gas hadnt been swapped in yet, and the suspension goodies werent in too bad of shape, i sold the whole package to another jaguar enthusiast and almost broke even from what i owed on it. this is actually why i drive an integra now.

Back in 2004, I was living in an apartment complex in Palmdale. People call this place New Compton. The city of Los Angeles had this great idea of increasing section 7 (housing subsidy) for the Antelope Valley area to move the undesirables to the outskirts of LA county. Anyways, the complex had open car port parking. I was coming out for class one morning and she was gone. They found her 2 weeks later outside a import impound yard. 2 hispanic males were caught breaking into the impound lot stealing car parts and were using my ride as the getaway vehicle. They did steal my MSD ignition system, but did replace it with OEM honda stuff so I should thanks them for that. Cheap bastards took all my change from the ash tray, car cover, and sound system.

After getting my car back. I ditched the viper alarm, which they left the box with wires cut on passenger floor and replace it with a pager alarm. I did my own install to make it a little more challenging for the thieves. I even put a boot on the wheels and parked next to a pole. About 2 am in the morning, the pager is going off. I grab my shotgun and fly down the stairs. I am definitely not a ninja, because they heard me running down the stairs. He bolts to the getaway vehicle, a 92-93 honda accord hauls it down the street. I check the car and everything was there. All they did was open the door.

Pain generator?!! Can you explain to me how this works on the intruder? Are you related to James bond? hehe
