how much hp will I get with these bolt ons

I would like to know how much hp will I get with these bolt ons
B20b high cr / gsr tranny
Aem intake
Skunk2 intake manifold/throttle body
Dc 421 header, itr cat, rs*r cat back exhaust
ngk spark plug/wires

I also have no a/c or p/s. (I have an ef manual rack)

Suspension: skunk2 pro s2
S/T sway bars

Every car is different, so cant answer. Not too much. To get the most out of those id recommend a mild cam/valvetrain upgrade and a tune. Go to a dyno for numbers if thats what you really want. What are your plans for the car?

Just some simple mods, I didn’t want to work on internals. I know if I want to get the most out of my mods I would need a tune. But I was just trying to find out around what numbers would I be getting

you’ll get a good 8 to 10 from 5k -7k RPMs.
if your really into getting power just get vtec killer cams and springs and you should tune.

Ok this is what I don’t get… Can anyone put after market cams on a stock motor? (even with a tune)
And vtec killer cams?? Isn’t that forvtec motors?

Yes, you can put aftermarket cams on a stock motor. Every situation is different, so the actual benefit of doing something like that is very dependent on the specific situation. And ignore that guy above, “vtec killer cams” are, iike the name implies, for vtec engines. And they basically turn a vtec engine into a non-vtec engine (thus thus the “killer” part) which only runs a single cam profile opposed to two different ones.

What’s a good cam or cams to get?
Would I have to get valves, springs , retainers?

Go out and do some research, don’t just ask direct questions to people. Actually go out there and research different builds, different options… There’s no one right answer.

Lol I am doing the research by asking people. And I know theirs no right answer, but their is a lot of wrong answers!
And dumb information that is not true.

Intake, Headers, and Full exhaust with an ITR car will give you better flow. Just make sure you have some back pressure. If you really want good flow, port and polish the intake manifold. No A/C and P/S somewhat helps with HP, but really it only takes 1 hp off. Really what i just said, your only gaining less then 15hp IF DONE RIGHT. To really compensate all these mods that you want to do, the tranny is the number 1 thing that people forget about. Go look at the honda tuning magazines or shops that specialize in Acura/Hondas. http://forums.nwp4life.com/zeroforum?id=35

That should skoot along pretty good… Being you got the torque from the B20. I have Injen SRI w/ v-stack, Ceramic DC 4-2-1, Greddy SP2 2.36in +test pipe on my liltte B18A1. I have p/s & a/c. You could free up 3-5whp going w/ no cat at all. Here’s my butt dyno w/ my set-up although these #'s I pulled up from a dyno proven book (How to build Honda Horsepower by Richard Holdener) Intake=4-5whp Header=2-3whp Exhaust=4-6whp No cat=4-5whp. I would have gained more w/ v-stack but they don’t have dyno sheet for that but we all know it does free HP but from my #'s alone let’s just say its 20whp avg =) Get a tune on your stuff and you’ll be good to go!

Uhh…well, 90% of people you are asking also didn’t do any research about the parts they want to buy, so really your just helping the cycle of bad information go round and round.

Start with I/H/E and move on from there.

exactly what he said. do your own research on what intake, header & exhaust you want to get. for ex.: there are many headers out there and some give better performance than others. like they say, you get what you pay for…

here’s my set up so far: skunk2 im & tb 68mm, k&n intake, tri-y long tube rep’s header, 1320 cutout welded on to my invidia testpipe, 2.5" exhaust to a stock muffler. also i recently put in my 00 itr cams. im running a b16 with a chipped ecu. all i need is a dyno tune
