wats up people, i have a bad rear wheel bearing on the passenger side and i was wondering if any of you guys know the steps of replacing your rear wheel bearing with a new one??..is it easy or is it hard to change yourself??..
Pretty sure you need to have a press to accomplish this. I would just take the entire hub off and take it to a shop and have them press it out and the new one in.
The rear wheel bearings come as a complete unit with the hub. No need to press anything out. Just remove the rotors, dustcap, unstake the nut like you do axles, and hit the nut with an impact. Remove the hub/bearing combo, clean spindle and reinstall is the reverse process
I’m an idiot, missed the “rear” part. Ignore me.
We already did.
hahaha
alright thanx for the info guys…i dont really have a impact gun…would man power work??

yes. just use a large breaker bar and a pipe to extend it (if necessary).
Not trying to tread jack but I need help too but I need new wheel bearing for the front,
Here’s my question @ if I take out the front hub and take it to the shop and have them push out the old and then push in the new wheel bearing doesn’t it have to be very accurate? In the one thousands?
im actually replacing my front wheel bearing right now. last time i messed with this same hub, i replaced my studs and how i ended up taking out my hub was taking a hammer and a socket to fit the back and punch it out., but afterwards pushing the hub back in the bearing started coming out. but im gonna use a press this time. i dont wanna be working on this same wheel again
