How to get better fuel economy?

So I got my b20vtec and everything runs nice. Now I’m looking for getting better mileage since I got the gsr tranny and I’m at 4000rpm at 120km/h :frowning:

First I thought about changing my header. We used the old b18a1 header on the setup, this sux. I’ll prolly get the dc sports header 4-2-1. Alot noticed better mileage with an aftermarket header.

Then I though about upgrading the ignition parts to MSD parts like coil, spark plugs wires and cap distributor. What do you guys think?

PS: I’ll go tune my ECU on the dyno after those final mods are installed.

i know it sux but drive slower

He’s right. I Use to drive everywhere between 85 and 90 mph ( I spend about 80% of my time in my car on the freeway) and I use to get between 22 and 24 mpg. Lately Ive been trying to keep myself from going over 70, and everytime I fill up, I get between 28 and 33 mpg.

LOL I KNOW guys, this is kinda obvious. But I’m looking for better mileage at any speed. The goal of this thread was to determine if MSD products and dyno tune are worth the money for fuel economy.
