I plan on getting some slim fans for my new radiator. I want to get two slimfans and was wondering what size is best? Also is it just cut the old wires then hook it up to the new ones or is their more involved? I seen some fan shrouds from mishimoto for sale but I think its for 1 big fan. Anyone with experience can chime in please. Thx in advance!

I went with a 12-inch and 10-inch fan. You could go with two 12-inches also. The 10" condenser fan has been plenty for me so far. It gives a little more clearance if you have AC.
To wire, I cut the plugs off the old fans and soldered and shrink wrapped the new ones to the old plugs. Make sure to test wire first so the fans are running in the right direction.
Thank you! Did you use a fan shroud or just zip tie the fans to the radiator?
I don’t have a shroud right now. Used some transmission cooler zip ties to secure them for now. It would have been better to fabricate some mounts or a shroud to put less strain on the radiator, but ran out of time.
Ok! Well I found a shroud on ebay and I think I’m going to try that. I have a Mizu radiator so I will try the mizu shroud or the mishimoto if the mizu is not a dual fan shroud. Thx for the reply!
how was the fitment on the mizu radiator like fan wise and such thanks for any input
