hey guys… i recently bought the rear lip for my DA… but i was wondering if it need lots of mods to put it on…
i tried looking but didnt find any info… just pics of DA’s with it on…

dude, you have the lip, but you dont know if it need mods?
- Take the lip outside
- Hold it up to your bumper
- Do whatever you need to do to make it fit

i didnt mean to hate dude, id understand if you didnt buy the lip yet. But if you have it, why do you need someone else to tell you? You can just go look first-hand.
i know dude i was being sarcastic… and yeah i have it already but its been raining and i have no where to try it… so thats why i ask to get an idea of what i need
im pretty sure you gotta shorten it. its in 3 peices right? the middle peice needs to be cut on the exhaust hole side. the end peices need a releif notch cut underneath and pushed into positon then attached.
also are u doin yours on a 90-91 or 92-93? if its on a 92-93 post pics when you get it on, im thinking of doing it and could only find one example to see how it looks.

i know exactly how you feel. I looked for hours for a diy with no result, I ended up figuring it out my self. Theyboth have to be heated so you defenatly need a heat gun. Originally the stadard curviture of the cd rear lip is not quiet round enough so you have to heat the bend and bend it more. also (not sure about 92-93 rear bar) but my 90 rear bar has a 90deg angel at the bottom of the bar. So it means that the lip has to be heated again. This time you have to heat the tabs on the lip to 90deg aswell. AS mentioned already also the lip has to be shortened a bit. Hope this helps you out abit!

it took a little to put it on. i had to cut the whole center out. heres a pic of it on my car.
