Hi. I was wondering how to install jdm window visors on my teg…i tried searching but i came up with nothing…any help? please

use the clips that come with them.
They hook around the little gutter right at the top of your door glass. Make sure the tab part with the hole (Where the little screws go through) is the part of the tab OUT of the gutter. Besides, I Don’t think you could get them in there anyway, the tabs only go in one way. It can be little difficult to get in there at first, but you just gotta push a little and it’ll go! (like so many other things in life

yeah, i tried using the clips and putting them in the gutter, but man, it doesn’t want to budge in some spots :(…like the rear side windows… :surrend: 
On the spots that won’t budge, try using a small flat head screwdriver to break the seal slightly. That’s what Pat did when he helped install mine. Are you sure you have the right clips in the right spots? They are slightly different you know.
I’m having trouble also. Those clips will not go in on the regular window side. I’ve tried the screw driver, but the hook will not go up far enough. Do you have any pics that I could see?
yeah, still couldnt figure it out…it is so damn windy outside …but how do the clips go in the rear side windows? and i haave to use double sided tape too correct?
look at the clips carefully theres on different one that is just flat and not hooked use that one clip for the rear window… you have to slip it in the crack between the window and the black sealer thingy… basically you just clip all those on and bolt it and done… np too me only hour to do both sides… hehe
Sorry to bring this old thread back but I’m having some troubles. I got all the clips to go in except the farthes one that is above the wuarter panel window. How do you get that one in?
Where do you buy these from? I cant seem to find them anywhere. And is there some off of another car like an accord that I can use instead?
I see them every once in a while on ebay. I was actually lucky to get mine, it was early in the morning and the guy had just put them on there for $140 Buy it now so I bought them. I usually see them go up to $200.
So yea can anybody give me advice on getting the clip in that is above the quarter panel window? If I use a screw driver will it mess up the molding when I take off the rain guards later on?

for mine, i used a flat head to kinda slid under the weather stripping just in that one spot…but i dont think i had the proper clip for that spot on my old teg. i ended up using double sideed tape, but that doesnt really hold well at times, :down: …good luck man!
I ended up using a knife to get it in there. The only problem I have is my driver side one wont clip at the spot of the second clip, so like it pops off if you pull it. I just hope it doesnt fly off when I get on the freeway.
you DID peel the red plastic off double stick tape that runs the length of the visor so it sticks to the trim right?
There was no tape on there.
we’re they new or used?
My new ones had some of that #M Moulding adhesive tape all along the edge so it sticks to the weatherstrip (in addition to the little metal clips).
I bought them used from a guy that is supposedly in japan. They came with japanese newspaper that was wrapped around them. So he probably took them off a car.
Yo, I just won some on ebay for like $122.00.:rockon: But there being shipped from Japan so im waiting there arival. But will i have to peel the trim up or do they just clip in under the trim?
