How do i put in a new blower motor… Do i have to take out the dash or do i just shove it back in??? Does any one know please help??
not sure about the dash but i think the glove box needs to come out.
is that all that needs to come out or does it need more… Any one esle know, about this
First of all…lose your SN, maybe then people will offer their advise and help you out.
It’s a piece of cake, unplug connector, remove 3 retaining bolt/screws, drop it out, done.:bowthank: 94
ok no on the sn ive had this sn since i was in 7th grade… and, also i tried that but the thing is, is that when i did that the wheel well is right there and thats where the bend is on the inside… Also in order to install a new one, thats the same problem that bend is right there… Now other question is how hard is it to remove the white box from under the dash where i put in the blower motor???
Pulling the heater box is a dash pull.
This is word for word out of the Haynes manual…
1- Disconnect batt…
2- The blower motor is located under the dash, behind the glove box. Remove the necessary under dash panels to access the blower motor.
3- disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
4-Remove the three retaining screws and remove the blower motor (see illustration].
5- If you are replacing the blower motor itself, separate the blower motor from the fan wheel and place fan on new motor.
6- Installation is the reverse of removal.
Check operation.
That’s it, looking at the “illustration” I can see it may be a bit of a problem to get to the back screw but that’s all. 94
