im curious about this specific book because it seems like it would cater to the absolute beginner, like myself. the link you posted seems like its packed with good information, but i need the very basics. like how to take the b18a1 out of my 1990 gs, and how to disassemble, rebuild, reassemble, and reinstall it into the engine bay

This is the book I used when I first started out. I found this at Barns and Noble. I also used general books for rebuilding 4 cylinder engines to get a better understanding of what’s going on. The trick in my opinion is to learn the terminology and understand it. The work itself is not the hardest thing but it gets confusing when you hear slang terms to important steps lol. Hope this helps.
