How to remove Drivers Side Tie Rod?

Just thought I would post this as I am having difficulty getting access to the inner Tie Rod. Just wanted to know if it would be easier if I take the whole rack out to fix it properly or if I need a special tool to remove these. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Inner tie rod tool is needed which can be rented at an auto parts store. As for the outer tie rod I use 2 big adjustable wrenches and penetrating oil and heat if needed. Have not had to use a fork for the ball joint end yet.

Just buy this cheap tool from Harbor Freight. $40, and you’ll be able to change many different makes and models tie rods.

I tried doing it without the tool and it was a pain. I just wish I would’ve bought it sooner.
