How to Remove Headlights?

I Need a play by play to remove the headlights from a 93 db1…lemme know…i got the fogs off but not the headlights…do i need to take the bumper off? please say no…thanks…

yes you do haha sorry. look in the teg tips for the install of jdm ones process will be the same for removal.

actually, its’t different if he want to take the headlights, off the metal bracket in which they are attached too…took me a little bit to figure out how to do that…but anyways

you need to remove the metal bracket in which the headlights are attached to to remove the headlights themselves from the bracket.

2 screws on each side of where the fenders r. 2 behind each corner light and 4 on the bottom of the bumper were there is a flap of rubber that comes down

ok guys thank you. i need to get the headlights out of the way. Im going to be wiring up my fog lights to my corner lights, not the signals just the parking lights…and the headlights in the way of the wire. ill work on it today thanks u guys if theres a more detailed picture diagram let me know…thanks.

and do you need to remove the bumper also if i just want to take out the corner lights???

no, not to remove the corner lights…it’s only one lil screw that u need a phillips screw driver to take out its connected to the top of the metal headlight bracket…after that screws taken out just pull the signal out.

you can wire the fogs to come on all the time the is a teg tip about

i took out that screw but i didnt want to break the corner light thats why i didnt pull on it, but ill be doing that today.

Did you read allmotor’s post above? If you are trying to make your fog lights come on with the parking lights instead of the headlights, you can do that in about 2 minutes from INSIDE the car without having to dissasemble half your car like you are trying to do now!

THANKS, IF IM CORRECT THE INNER DOOR SAYS IT’S GRAPHITE BLACK…I like it also but an do for a color change. i think this threads done. thanks for all the comments and help guys.

lol, then damn idk the color but all i know is that it’s for sale for 1500 and if it dont sale in a month imma paint it milano red through some Gold Slipstreams on it.

with that rewire method, does the rear defroster still work? and will using the defroster interfere with the foglights.

Yes the defroster still works, and it doesnt interfere with the foglights at all.
