As the title suggests, has anyone got suggestions on how to remove overspray easily? I had my front bumper painted recently and there is overspray all over the car.
Secondly any suggestions for removing the paint from the bumper so I can get it repainted???:shy:

As for removing the paint on the bumper … I assume it’s not the one you just painted? But if you want to prep it for paint, sand it out. [/B]
It sure is the one I just painted!!! The body shop did such a lousy job I fear going back to have them redo it, not to mention that they keep putting it off. The paint has started flaking because they hadnt prepared the bumper, just painted it.
And then they got overspray all over the car.
So Im just fed up with them, I intend to put on WW RS Sides and Front and go elsewhere to have a full paint done. PROPERLY.
You can find the clay bar at an auto parts store, Can Tire, etc … Mothers and Meguiars ;).
As for the problems with your paint … if it were someone who wasn’t hands on with the car, I’d say take it back and make them remove the overspray AND fix your bumper. But knowing them they would make your paint look worse trying to remove the overspray … better off to do it yourself. Clay bar and soapy water, then a finishing wax and you’re done.
I would remove your front bumper, and take it to them and make them repaint it properly … make sure it is sanded down and prepped, primered, and scotch-brited … BEFORE it is sprayed. Accept nothing less. Then report them to the BBB if they do not do this!
