I BOUGHT MYSELF AN RX8 LAST WEEK AND IM PLANNING TO MAKE MY DA MY PROJECT (MESS AROUND) CAR. STARTING WITH SUSPENSION AND WEIGHT REDUCTION BEFORE DOING A GSR SWAP I WAS WONDERING HOW DID U GUYS REMOVED THE REAR PASSENGER SEAT??? ANY PICS?? THANK YOU!!! 
The seatbacks are held on solely by the hinges where they fold. Fold the seatbacks down and look under the carpet at the seat hinges, there should be 2 bolts per hinge and 2 hinges per seatback. One seatback is held onto the center hinge by a shaft with a screw. Once all these are undone the seatbacks should lift out.
To remove the seat bottoms theres only one bolt in the center near where the center seatbelts bolt to the car. Undo that and fold the seat bottoms up and out of the car.

seat bottom is a 10mm and so are the hinges. And wash your hatch rug.
