i managed to get off the trunk panels so that i can see the light and bolts and i ve undone several of the nuts the the lights still haven t budged a bit. so if anyone knows how can you please reply back. I NEED TO get them off there is water in both lights.
there 6 nuts on each light, some times they need a little motavation getting out. dont forget to replace those seals.:whisper:
the seals are probably just acting like double sided tape. I had the same problem. What I did was get a rag, roll it into a ball, and use that to push on the bolts. They will come off with some muscles. Just be firm, but gentle. You dont want to break anything.
my da did that exact thing. i gave the bolts a little tap with a hammr then bam they were out. if you do it my way make sure not to beat them with the hammer lol
after all 6 nuts were off i still could not get mine out. it took about 5 minutes of hammering & psyching myself out about damaging the light when it finally budged. just be careful not to break anything. take it slow & use logic
replace the gaskets. mine leaked after i took my lights out

Thank you guys I got the lights on but I have one more question. How do you separate the lights so that you are able to clean out the water.
search “clearing out taillights” in Tegtips. They show you how to open them up.
