I’m trying to remove my stock spoiler on my ls. I got all the 5 bolts off but I still can’t get the spoiler off. It seems like it’s glued down or something. I don’t want to scrape it off and damage the paint. How did u guys take it off
Mine was a little tough to take off, almost like it was sticking onto the trunk. I just kept tugging/lifting at each end (left side, center and, right side). It eventually came off. I’m guessing it was just built up gunk. :shrug: Good luck.
they have some pretty sticky double sided tape gaskets on them from the factory, so yeah it is going to take some coaxing to come off.
got it off, just pulled till it came off with a good amount of force. any suggestions on how to remove the gooey stuff?
release agent. or other known adhesive removers. use as directed on the package.
