How to tell what year B18A1 engine is from

I have a 90 Integra LS, Im about to do the valve adjustment but according to some research ive done the 90-91 and 92-93 B18A1 engines have different specs for the valve clearance. When i purchased the car, the original owner told me that the engine was replaced with a new rebuilt one. How do i know which year engine i have? The block says B18A1 the head has the year 90 stamped on it. I just want to make sure i have the right one. Thanks in advance.

the block has no other ID apart from the “b18a1”. The model year is stamped on the head, the first two numbers located on the head top/center of the exhaust manifold is the year the head was built. some are tricky because they sometimes stamped the year the head was built, which is usually a year before the model year. so a 91 year head might say 90. They’re pretty much the same and you can’t go wrong using either specs (90-93 all specs work)
