how to tell?

ok my cousin’s 93 s has a bad ticking noise, i did a search and came up with injector’s that click and the distributer berings gone bad. i know its not in need of a valve adjustment, ive done it 4 times now. so how can i tell if its either one? the injectors or distributer? thanks

can u locate the source of the clicking/ticking?

If it has been a while since they’ve been changed you might want to change both of them out now just in case (injectors & distributor). But if I had to guess I would have to say you need to replace your injectors.

You could also get your injectors clean. But to tell if that’s where the noise is coming from, get a long screwdriver and hold the tip to the injector and hold your ear to the handle of the screwdriver and you’ll be able to hear it much better. Or you can spend a few bucks and get a mechanic’s stethoscope. same deal
