could someone please explain how to tighten my ebrake, thanks.
remove the lil ash tray in the back of that e-brake cover. looking at if from the back seat, if u turn it (clockwise) that will tighten it. go lil by lil and test it before tightening it more. you’ll need a 12mm wrench.
One step you forgot: GET A MANUAL!!!
No offense, but if people actually bought & used a manual, the easy as cake questions wouldn’t even be asked. You can save alot of time just by reading that book.

clarification and question
when you say from the back seat your meaning sitting in the back seat looking down at both bolts correct?
my ebrake is unevenly tightened ( you have to push the button in and let pop out before depressing it to lift ebrake then to get it to lock you have to lift it toward the passenger seat or it wont catch )
i assume the drivers side cable needs to be tightened, correct? thanks
