my frend did his b16a swap in his auto g2 now do u wire up the VTEC wires the same way as a 5spd. Cause he did it the same way as a 5spd and the gear selecor light on the cluster blinks.Does any one know hot to wire th VTEC up on an auto G2 with a b16a first gen NON OBD.
It is done the same way as for the 5 spd. Unfortunatley the light is gonna blink as that is an error code from the a/t computer. The car should run fine other than the button on the shifter will not work.

Which button on the shifter won’t work? You mean the one that allows you to switch to d3? Why wouldn’t it work?
