So if you have these headlights and want yellow fog cover ior have them and want to use them here is how you do it
first you need these lights
next take off the cover over the fog area like this
Now if you look inside there 2 screws that hold the bulb holder in the light. You will need to drill 2 holes to access these screws like so be careful and make sure you line up the drill.
After that take a die grinder or file or sander of some sort and grind on the bottom of the hole and a little on the top to round out the hole more
If you have fog covers you only need the glass nothing else
Then test fit and slip in bulb cover
Then put it all back together
and then it will look like that
Also you will need to cover the holes i used 3M paint protection film cause i have it laying around. Silicone would work or some sort of tape will hold up to weather. When grinding use a vacuum or blow air from a compressor to get out the shavings
and after its all said and done you will have this
I was thinkin about ordering those head lights and doing the yellow fogs… any chance you could post a pic with all you lights on… just wanna see what it looks like. thanks
i have the same ones with the titanium houseings… they fit PERFECT… but the light output isn’t the best… but as far as fitment goes… they look great and line up perfect… i’m running 8000K Hid’s for my headlights and 3500K hid’s for my foglights… and the fogs are brighter than my headlights… and naturally driveing a DA… everyone thinks my “high beams” are on… i get flashed about 4/10 cars that pass by on the highway… oh well… thats drivin a da i guess
light out put is better with 9007 i dont mind it you will have to cut and wire up the fog lights its just a wire with no connector and it uses standard h3 fog bulbs with a flat connector not round hope that helps
