Glue it from the inside?
when i cracked a fairing on my bike I used a plastic weld glue/putty/cement and it worked well. You have to repaint it afterwards though, but with small cracks like that it wouldn’t be that noticeable…
yeah best bet is to use plastic weld . don’t use glue or super glue . it will set and look great put of the car . but as soon as you start tightening the screws the added pressure will cause the glue to fail then you’ll have the cracks all over again
Alright thanks guys.
no thread jack intended
i have a oem window visor thack cracked when my car was broken into.
is that plastic weld clear?
fill in the cracks by the back with fiber glass
you can get the plastic weld in clear white or black
where can you buy the plastic weld/?
Most large hardware stores like Canadian Tire - Walmart may even have it, not sure about your location - Lowes and stuff…
I was looking for it in Canadian Tire and I couldn’t find it anywhere, I was looking in the section where they also have loctite, anti-seize etc. I guess I gotta ask someone next time i’m in there, hopefully someone will know.
use some JB Weld and repaint it…
