HPDE 1 & 2 Willow Springs Feb 7th

This Forum section doesn’t get enough love so I’m going to take the time to whore my track event pictures.

I was part of the HPDE 1 & 2 group. You could find the full gallery here:

lol at my instructor:

No understeer here.

I <3 Turn 4, 5 & 6

Damn looks fun. I can’t believe that your car could handle those turns though haha. Cool.

Car? Who said the car handles the turns? There’s a driver behind the wheel that does that part

laptime?

Unfortunately I didn’t time any of the laps, I barely scratched the surface of my all season tires… lol. I’m not even worried about lap times at all at this point.

i cannot stress enough how much the importance the “driver mod” is
you can have the best vehicular package that there ever was but if you havent got the driver mod yet that car aint shit.

youre well on your way to activating your driver mod.

hpde classes are great, its nice to see people using this priceless outlet.

its even nicer knowing that youre doing it when your car is mostly stock (it looks like at least, and your all-season tire comment…). props to you!

e: the cameraperson liked your car, youve got more pics in the gallery than the corvette. were you lapping more?

Yes actually I did lap more because the corvette left after the 2nd session (out of 4). I wouldn’t be surprised if the photographer was a DA owner, I have tons of pics on there haha…

It is mostly stock, a lower seat wouldn’t hurt though because my head hits the headliner with the helmet on.:giggle:

I’ve never been impressed by CaliPhotography’s pics, though. If I got some of the primo spots at the tracks like he does, I would have so many more dope pictures.

I was considering going on Feb 20th, but with the AP1.

The video makes Big Willow look like it’s flat… wth… The elevation change at 3, 4 and down 5 is much more pronounced, crazy…

I need one of those go pro’s man. Fun times.

I want to sign up for Cal Speedway March 13 & 14 but a few bills might be in the way. We’ll seeee

if youre really interested in getting faster laptimes sometime down the road, i would suggest getting a pbox http://www.performancebox.co.uk/

if you have any desolate pavement that could be cordoned off and raced on, itll count laptimes, telemetry, g-forces, etc so you dont always need to wait for a race weekend.

empty parking lots work great.

anyway good luck on your road to total vehicle control.

Thanks Wease good looking out, that looks badass. I wouldn’t mind investing in one down the road, must be nice. :read:
