I blew a rod, will my crank still be ok?

Ok well I blew a rod and now have a hole in my block (half dollar sized) and I was wondering if I were to put together another block would I be able to use my old crank. How would I tell if the crank is good? I thinking about getting a bare block then using 1G b16a pistons/ b18a rods (shotpeened)/ and stock b18a crank, sound ok?

I was hauling ass going about 115mph for about 5mins, next thing I know my car is slowing down and my engine is smoking like crazy, so I get home and take I look at my block and notice a hole about the size of a half dollar on it. I mean what else chould the hole be from? btw do you have an anwser for my previous question?
