I miss my da!

so i sold my da about 3 years ago and i have regretted it ever since. since then i have a Ek hatch fully built d16y8 turboed on 10lbs. super fun car to drive and i sunk alot of money in it(7000) in the motor build and turbo kit(no ebay CRAP).


so i have a possiable trade for my EK. now fyi i bought my ek 100% stock and i did all the work so i have alot of my time and energy in it.
the da is captive blue(fav color)
b20, ls trans, work wheels, d2 coilovers, hks hi power and so on. am i crazy or is this a fair trade or am i crazy?

looks like a good trade to me… tell him to get an intake and a hood prop first…

i would do it. that da looks pretty clean and that engine bay looks like he knew wtf he was doing other than the intake. looks like a nice build.

With a EK hatch. You can prob get a db2 here where I’m from. Work wheels and hks is a plus. Clean captiva exterior is a plus. So yeah mayb it might be worth it. As long as your not gonna miss that EK. Than do it.

I love DAs a much as anyone in here, but it all depends how the market is for a specific chassis. Where im from that trade would have to involve cash from the DA owner. If i owned the EK, id def ask for cash on top

Just because the car is newer doesn’t mean its value is higher than an older car

We are talking about old Hondas here. The fact that his EK is boosted throws out about the only difference being the motor output.

If the DA owner add’s some cash to the trade and you’re satisfied with it then it could be a good deal. But I wouldn’t do a straight trade.

I would have kept the EK… only because im starting to feel nervous knowing that we dont have airbags.

^Lol you know you’re in a Da when you have no air bags, seems like a even trade to me b20(dohc) vs boosted d16(sohc), but are those 17’s, maybe a little cash on his side will seal the deal

well at the end the kid ended up backing out at the last minute. still miss my da and want one. is there anywhere on g2ic i can post my hatch for trade? all i see is for gen 2 integras only. :frowning:
