I really dont know what could be wrong with it…
i was just driving on my way to school and it seemed to be running fine, and then i was slowing down because it was red at a stop light, so as i was slowing down my car just dies, and then i try starting it again and it wont start.
Any input guys?
Not a lot of info to work with there man. here are a few of the most common problems.
Faulty Main Fuel Relay (When you tun the key to the “on” position do you hear the fuel pump prime? Swap it out with a known working one to check)
No Spark (Check for spark, also remove Distributor cap and check condition of rotor and contacts)
If you don’t have spark find a working distributor and swap it in. (this solves 90% of no start issues.)
If the car doesn’t turn over at all then you have to look at your starter, batt conditinon/connections, charging system ect…
Post again with a little more info and people can help you pinpoint the problem better.
Sorry bro, well heres the list of the things i will check:
-My distributor
-Idle control
-Fuel relay
-Check my plugs and wires and rotor
etc.
