An '89 PR3 will be JDM B16.
Thanks .I have search this as well and found this out . So my other question is " what does the -2 mean in PR3-2" Since they was no ITR in 1989 My is a b16 head but is there a way to found out from which car # 1988-1991 JDM Honda Integra RSi/XSi (DA6/DA8)
1988-1991 JDM Honda CRX SiR (EF8)
1988-1991 JDM Honda Civic SiR (EF9)
Thanks again for the help
8/9 so its from 1989
So my other question is " what does the -2 mean in PR3-2" and what car did it came from or did they put this head in different cars and marking them all the same? thanks again for the help.
All B16/PR3 heads are the same.
The only different one is the Type-R (97+)
Since yours is an '89, is the same as every other factory non-ITR B16 PR3-x cast head.
So the “-2” is meaningless ?? From what I know the only cars that had a b16 head in 1989 was the
JDM Honda Integra RSi/XSi
JDM Honda CRX SiR
JDM Honda Civic SiR
If there is other cars that came with this head that year please Inform me and if the “-2” in “PR3-2” has a meaning I would love to hear it.
Thanks everyone for the info.
There are -2 and -3 B16 heads, and -2 and -3 ITR heads as well.
As far as I know the -x does not tell you which head is which.
