i hate the sound of it… yes… but it just seems everything is starting to fall apart on the teg, i have an exaust rattle allllllll through 1-4k rpm, some weird popping noise coming from where my backseats were, my speaker cover is broken, i get weird smells of all kinds, my cig lighter doesnt draw power, my battery terminals suck, my tranny grinds in R and 4th, clutch is slipping, hood is messed up, someone hit the drivers side rear wheel well with a baseball bat, my seats are falling appart, my carpet has so many holes in it, the ride is rough as hell, it struggles to start, its just getting OLD. whats a solution to all my problems? what is a real problem? and what doesnt need to be fixed? (cosmettically stuff is fine, i dont care bout that, i just need transportation) basically, what im saying, is with these symptoms, what do i need to replace asap?
to clarify, the popping noise sounded like my friends axle when it needed to be replaced, but its in the back, not the front, and its all the time, not just when i turn… btw, im no mechanic, so let me know what i need to replace and what costs, thank you in advance

hopefully i will be the “man with the red teg” for much longer to come.
Check the bolts on the header and the flanges to and from the catalytic converter and the bolts on the heat shields for the rattling.
You can get some steel wool or buy a battery terminal cleaner tool to clean them up. Check the fuse for the cig. lighter…probably just need to be replaced.
Everything else will probably be costly. The grinding may be the synchros in your tranny worn out. I’d say just get a shop to fix it all. Best of luck.
230+ miles, n1 exaust, some of the stuff since this post has been fixed, and in a few weeks, if i can sell some stuff, ima just replace this motor, and retire it due to complications as the great mango power man himself would say.
