I thought this would never happen......

I wouldn’t stick it storage because I wouldn’t have access to it whenever I want. They actually got into your storage? Geez I thought that place was safe?

wait… is this for what i think it is?

Only good thing is that insurance is covering what was stolen.

storage does not have to be public u can store it at your parents at your aunts and uncles or sisters place for example my aunt has a 2 car garage at home and i put my DA there cause she lives close and its a hell of alot safer than public storage.

One rule I always had was not too take up space at someone’s house with my own stuff. It’s a temporary fix and just prolongs the problem for another date. I stored a friend’s car for a month and after awhile I got a little annoyed about keeping it there.

Wow all the local G2ICers are coming to this thread !!! What is this world coming too? lol

:werd: my uncle stores his 300zx TT at my g-ma’s place. They dont drive anymore and sold their cars since. Might as well put it there. He doesnt take it out much and probably only a few neighbors have seen it.

thats pretty much my situation…

i can understand not being down with putting your stuff at some1s house but for something as important as this and being as attached as u seem to be mayb its a rule worth breaking.

LD,
Your car has always interested me because you were definetely trying things that I can’t imagine were terribly popular in your area back when you were first building this car.

I hope for your own piece of mind the car finds a respectful new home…

Best of Luck,
J.

Hi J, thanks for the kind words, I’m sure the car will be safe with the new owner. I just hope I don’t regret the decision after the car is gone. If it wasn’t for the fact I got this car brand new, it would have been gone awhile ago.

Son I am disappoint.

Huh? Lol

I think he means… you shouldnt get rid of the car. :hugs:

I’m having second thoughts too, dammit !!!

Lost,
Can you email me when you get a chance?

Second thoughts?! Yikes! Get rid of it now! (ahem mini) or hold it forever. you can go lake skating with it haha.

You want to buy it? The catch is you have to come down and get it by this weekend…don’t worry, I’ll give you a good price!!! You better get it before I get stupid with it and it falls in the lake, lol.

My $.02? If you don’t drive it…Then sell it someone who will.

It looks like too nice a car to just sit there getting older. I personally believe material things are meant to be used for their intended purpose if at all possible. I’ve had nice guitars in the past that I have given to people because I would rather see them played and enjoyed than simply gawked at. A musical instrument deserves to be used for creative purposes, much like a nice car should be used to stir up emotions and stimulate the soul. If it’s not doing that for you anymore, maybe it’s time to let someone else experience it.

Its what she was born for man  So either find a renewed love for it, or sell it i say. Sounds like you already found a good home for her…And hey what’s stopping you from finding another brand new project to work on after shes gone?

You know what they say…All good things…

Good luck with your decision though, and congratulations on maintaining your car so meticulously all this time.
