i know they are steelies with a lip
but i was wondering if they were widened and if they were a diy job or if they were purchashed?
Pretty sure they are not widened, and a DIY job … I forget the member’s name though!
Just look like steelies with the center painted black. Stands out more because of that, so they just look wider.
these are steelies. no other modifications other that the lip which was a DIY

Paint. It is either a blackie with the lip painted silver or a silver steelie with the center painted black.

Steelies from Hondas that didn’t have hubcaps like the Civic CX and DX had those center caps on them. They have Hs on them too.
Groove D was the owner of that car.

by far sick for bn a DIY job…since i dont have the money to spend on rims…might have to do something like this but maybe a different color instead of polishin the lip

that was my old DA before i sold it. 
in a nutshell; fell in love with the 15inch steelies when it first came out on the 2000 civics…
purchased 4 brand new 15inch steelies (black semi-gloss) from honda at a whopping 25 dollars each.
purchased high temp gloss black paint and prepped each steelie…
after the gloss black paint was dried, i masked and painted the lip with chrome paint; waited for it to dry; clearcoated.
centercaps were off a 90-91 civic dx.
steelies were not widened (still have them today and it looks sick with spacers!)
i miss my DA at times…

Everything was done to that car… almost every single part was changed, you name it. I had a first gen b16 with LSD which was very nice.
I had to sell it because: a) the body was rotted out like no tomorrow and b) it was simply too small to lug my family around. I then purchased a db1 along with a 01 hyundai elantra (beater) to get around.
I tried to take everything off my old DA and put whatever i could on the DB1 and sold it almost stock looking hehe
