Hey wassup G2Ic members i got a 92 ls and im experiencing low idle. I see that when i press the brakes or when i have alot of things turned on (radio,lights) it will go low to the 150-200 rpm. Now when i press the brakes im guessing there is going to be some draw due to the brake lights but can it be an air leak in the brake booster hose or a bad brake booster. ima change the battery just to make sure its not the battery, but please respond back with some knowledge on this issue.
Yes, starting at the battery is a good idea. If that doesn’t work then go on to the alternator.
damn fraid you was gonna say alternator, not because its an issue to take it out and put a new one, only problem with mine is that one of the bolts head broke off, now its gonna be a bitch to take out the threaded part. after the battery ill look into the alternator thanks for the input
