Idle screw doesnt work.

My idle is at 1000 and goes up and down like 200rpm sometimes… But the idle screw doesnt do anything…

try adjusting the throttle cable.

No no no. This happened to me when I tried adjusting the idle on the my car due to the cams I have. Basically, the computer compensates no matter what you do, so the idle always stays the same. The only way to make it work is to unplug your TPS on the underside of your throttle body. This way the computer doesn’t know where your idle and you can manually adjust it using the idle screw. You will always have a check engine light on, but it is worth it to make your car idle. I had mine this way until I got it dyno tuned with an FPR.

You need to unplug the EACV not the the TPS to adjust the idle.

Well, the TPS works too, I did it for a few months. With the TPS in, the computer idles the car 750 rpm, which is too low for untuned racing cams. After I unplugged the TPS, I put the idle up to about 900 rpm and it worked well.

EAVC is where?

The EACV is on the back of the intake manifold. It controls the air bypassing the throttle body. Unplug the two pin connector and adjust bleed screw. When you unplug it, the check light comes on. pull the back up fuse to reset computer when you are done

nope didnt work.

Get an FPR, S-AFC, and a dyno tune. Your car will idle like a dream and have plenty of fuel up top.

first come the Crower 404’s or the JG 303’s

did you let the car warm up to operating temperature(cooling fan comes on) before trying to adjust?

yup.
