just got my skunk2 IM on and i fixed the overheating problem, now my idle will not stop bouncing from 1000 to 1750. i did a nice long search and found out that i need to check all my vacume lines, and im going to test my IACV idle air control valve.
i did have to take off the fast idle valve thingy thats under the throttle body because theres no where for it on the skunk2. my timing belt, spark plugs, wires, and things like that are fine. anyother ideas to why my car won’t stop bouncing, also im not getting any CEL’s
Did you reset the ECU? because that could be it.
yeah i had the fuse out for about 15mins.
Mine did that for a while and it was from a stuck fast idle valve. So I had to take it apart and clean it out. After that it worked fine. But I do still have the stock IM and throttle body. So it might be because you did have to remove the fast idle valve.
i had the same problem. forgot to plug the fpr valve/evap control thingies in the rear. ya so triple check all hoses and pcv valve

did you install a skunk2 or ITR manifold? and did the bouncing ever stop before you checked the vacume lines?
