If I hit a bump and hear a metallic rattle in my front left wheel...

What could it be? Sounds sorta like quarters in a coffee can. I only hear it when I hit a bump. I can’t find anything loose. Would a bad CV Joint rattle like that? (I hear no clicking when I turn.) ihatemycarihatemycarihatemycarihatemycar:rant:
