swapping:jdm itr swap with innovative mount kit and cable to hydro
problem:i want to keep my power steering, but the original power steering bracket from the b18a doesnt seem to work with the itr swap.
basically the 2 holes to thread the bolts is much farther apart on the b18c then it is on the b18a.
all of u guys that swapped ur integras and kept ur power steering, what bracket did u use inorder to retain ur orginal ps pump???
any input is appreciated.
p.s.
i do have the itr ps pump and bracket that came with the swap, but i cant connect the hose to the itr pump because it is slightly different.
and i dont think use the itr ps pump bracket with the b18a ps pump will work either, seem a bit off also.
Here’s mayber a faster way, SEARCH for people who have done the ITR swap and ask them directly. Whos knows, you might have to only wait 8 minutes this time.

can u use your LS power steering pump on the ITR bracket?
And i would stay away from the innovative conversion. You’d be better off with a cable tranny. but if thats done already, then its all good.
Well there are certain cars from other manufacturers that have electric power steering pumps. Maybe you could look into that, thats what I was going to do and still might do because I can only have an alt pulley on the crankpulley.
