My igniter tests bad and I need to replace it, but I can find an exact match - local dealer is out of OEM. Is the heatsink on the OEM ingniter removable? If so, how do I attach it to the aftermarket igniter? Aftermarket doesn’t have any threads and appears as though I should remove my heatsink somehow and attach it to igniter so it will mount inside the distributor.
Any suggestions?
