So I have a db1 and I have had my car broken into 4 times. I am assuming that that they pull the window out at the top and trip the automatic door locks. The morons can still the car, they always shred the ignition and steering colomn covers. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can stop the asshole who keeps messing with my car besides installing an alarm? I am putting an alarm on the car so I can shut that bastard who is killing my teg!
are they stealing ur car, or just breaking in? if they are just breaking in… then disengage the auto door locks. unplug the switch. thats all. not the best way but that would stop that part. if they are stealing it, then u gotta invest in an alarm and/or install some kill switches. aside from all that tho… if someone wants to steal it they will find a way. ignition kill switches can be bypassed… easiest way is to kick start it. so putting a kill switch for the fuel system would decrease the likelyness of them taking it.
where are they breaking into ur car? if its at home, have u ever thought of putting it in a garage if u have one? if they’re doing that at ur work… tell ur place to get camera’s or security or something.
They have broken in 3 time and tried to steal it but I have altered the ignition so that when they strip out the key slot they still can’t start it. I park in front of my apartment complex and they break into it there. I am having a remote keyless entry installed and the door locks on the inside and outside removed.
might be smarter to just move? 
them breaking into ur car… still not cool. cuz eventually if they can’t unlock it to get in… they’re gonna try busting a window or something. windows will start adding up soon… why don’t u get the car finger printed to see if they can find any prints of thieves?

Removable steering wheel helps somewhat. One of those vibration sensors that beeps and flashes would help too.
yes a removable steering wheel is a good idea… or u could just get a bear trap and place it on the floor board… that would deter thieves. after they get trapped
ive been continplating the idea of puting a relay in to a switch and the coil, flip the switch, turn the key, relay kicks over and the coil has power. just an idea
