Okay, so i’ve been having some issues with my blower motor not turning on. Like a week ago my blower motor wouldn’t come on on any speed. then i turned my car off and turned it back on and everything started to work again on every speed.so i didn’t really care less. And then through out this whole past week i had to do the same exact thing.turn the car off and back on to make the blower motor work. But now it COMPLETELY does not work anymore.I bought a new blower motor hoping that it would fix it, but it didn’t. It doesn’t work anymore. any help? i have no clue what it could be
On a side note:My radio comes on on the first key position, but when i turn the car on it turns off. This started happening when the blower motor started doing this. i had to do the same thing like i did with my blowermotor problem.and now it doesn’t work…
well any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys
Mine is doing the same thing, but this past weekend i came to find out that it was my ignition switch, because i started checking my grounds like everyone said and the damn thing didn’t get fixed, so what i did i was playing with my key and it seemed that everthing work at a certain point of the key roatation, i think it was between the on position and the 2nd position ( i dont know what its called)
i ended up connecting my radio to the fuse box on the driver's side for now... holidays everthing is closed...
I had a problem like that in my accord and I started a thread on 3geez. What mine was doing was when I would turn the car on sometimes when I went to turn the heater on the fuckin radio shut off and the heat didnt work then like a few minutes of driving everything would work and other times the radio and heat controls didn’t even turn on. One of the guys on 3geez was saying to check the ignition contacts. So like DA9LS said it does sound like something in the ignition switch. Of course I sold my accord and never did get the chance to look at it.
thanks guys.have any info on how to take it out? i looked at it and it looks like i would have to pull the whole dash to get to the wiring, but i know someone has gotten around that. It’s high of 31F and low or 10F over here in murfreesboro tn.lol info is greatly appreciated.thanks
