what do u have to do to your ingnition for it to be able to handle 8500-9000rpm…i have no clue for sure so please help me out! thanks a lot for ur replys
nothing, all you need is a chip put in your computer.
What you do need is a stronger rate valve spring. And if you have a higher mile motor I would not do it!
my engine is going to be completely new internally with crower internals all around and im planning on getting a chipped ecu i just want to kno how go get my ignition to continue to give me power all the way to 9 grand
Its not the ignition that quits when the stock rev limit is hit, its the fuel.
so you are tryin to tell me that i dont need to have upgraded plug wires or a SCI from msd or anything like that as long as i have fuel upgrades and a chipped ecu???

I would reocmmend the MSD 6A unit with a high vibration coil.
Ya, would be nice but not necessary…
with the safc i see it has rev limit control do u need the chipped ecu to change your rev with the ecu???
Tim,
I replied to your email. Hope it helps you out.
Just also wanted to let you know, that I cleaned the piston tops and block a bit for you also. This block will compliment your buildup very well. Thanks again.
I would rather get a hondata system. The SAFC crap along with reprogramming a stock ecu with a higher redline will endup costing you more instead.
yes, You still need the chip in the ecu. Even if you have a MSD 6AL
with the selectable chip rev limits. You still need the chip in the ecu.
