Ignition Switch cause of Random Stalls?

Hey guys,

Recently I replaced my distributor due a faulty igniter. The car has been randomly stalling with the dash lights on…Now it is running back up again but the symptom started recurring again but not as severe as last time (Stalls when idling and/or cruising about 3 times a day).

I was also told that the ignition switch could cause the stalling…can anybody validate this or shine some insight?

My car’s off by a tooth as well not sure if that’s related at all.

have you checked codes?

Only code I am getting is CEL 1, O2 sensor i believe

o2 sensor can cause a lot of problems too…mine did at least. Just replace it if you never personally have or know the last time it was.

Problem has been solved. Hot connection between my kill switch and the fuel pump pwr wire. Rewired, good to go!
