I was wondering what components I should buy for my ignition system. I have decided to stick with my stock B18. I am planning in a full valvetrain buildup along with a set high compression pistons and upgraded rods. I was planning on an upgraded distributor cap, an upgraded ignition, and coil. My problem is I am not sure which ignitionto buy. I am aiming for about 200 whp, and it needs to be 100% streetable.

stock ignition system is all you need.

stock wires
stock cap/rotor
stock coil and ignitor.

stock can handle up to 300hp or so.

but if anything i would suggest a MSD system

I put a set of Superconductor wires on my car. No butt-dyno difference, but I know they’ll last a good while.

Yeah I was at least going to replace my plug wires. I was lookin at the 8.5mm from MSD.
